The C.C. Snowdon

Snowdon was one of the first oil refining business in Western Canada. The building was originally a factory, established in 1911 and used for the production of oils, grease and paints.

Campbell Camillus Snowdon was born in Montreal. He owned and operated the factory until 1921. In 1970 the Snowdon family sold the company, and since then the building has been home to many businesses and also spent a great deal of time vacant.
